Flags of our Fathers

The Castleton State College community will have a rare opportunity to see a first-run film, “Flags of Our Fathers,” for free in the Fine Arts center on Oct. 22 at both 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.The Clint Eastwood produced movie, detailing the bloody World War II struggle for the Japanese island Iwo Jima, is based on a book co-written by local author Ron Powers, husband of Associate Academic Dean Honeree Fleming.

Although the event is free, tickets are required and may be obtained at the FAC box office.
